PRP and Regenerative Treatment for Joint Arthritis

Joint arthritis can cause aching, stiffness, swelling, reduced mobility, and pain with weight-bearing or repetitive movement. Symptoms may affect larger joints or smaller joints and can gradually interfere with exercise, work, sleep, and daily activities.

Orthobiologic treatment options may include:

  • Platelet-rich plasma injections

Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is prepared from a sample of the patient’s own blood. The platelets are concentrated and then injected into the targeted joint under image guidance when appropriate.

Tendon, Ligament, And Soft-Tissue Injury Treatment
